In order to request your domain, you can use our self-service tool <here>. To ensure your security, you will need to have access to the email originally to receive an email with your transfer code. The unlocking process will take 5+ business days. Some other restrictions may apply, such as a 60-day change of ICANN registrant lock (no port out within 60 days of registration).
Should you be unable to access the email on file, please send a copy of your ID with name present, a copy of the credit card statement, and optionally, the invoice number. A delay may occur with this method.
Please note that porting your domain away does not downgrade or cancel your subscription plan tier. Remember to downgrade or cancel your plan once you port out your domain. You should port out before your domain expires, otherwise, the domain will be released back to the general pool. It is often recommended to port out at least 30 days in advance to account for port out issues.
DNS records are not transferred automatically. You will need to update these records accordingly to maintain email and web hosting services.
